Common Cubes is designed, so it can easily be (re)produced locally:

You can use a laser cutter or a CNC router available in a FabLab or even just a normal jigsaw to build your basic modules and modify them.

 

The plates from Common Cubes are made from 9 mm. plywood – a material easy to access and to work with.
