ABOUT

Common Cubes is a set of basic modular construction blocks for interior design, which you can combine easily to form a large variety of more complex arrangements: Sitting landscapes, storage systems, functional furniture or other spatial structures.

Each single building block only consists of an arrangement of six completely identical plates. These plates are held together by strong rubber bands – making it possible to assemble Common Cubes without the use of screws or tools. When not in use all Common Cubes can be dismantled again quickly and stored without the need for a large storage space.

Common Cubes is designed, so it can easily be (re)produced locally. You can copy, remix and transform the design for any purpose, even commercially. As long as you give credit to the designers. Read more.

Common Cubes was designed as a part of a collaboration between designer and Architect Till Wolfer, artist and graphic designer Louise Vind Nielsen and FabLab Silkeborg in Denmark.
